Back, neck or knee pain that keeps coming back?

We help with:

Pillows, stretches and painkillers only mask it. At Back2Life, a registered physiotherapist finds the cause, then treats it with hands-on care, exercise rehab, shockwave and massage therapy.

Sound familiar?

You've tried the quick fixes. The pain keeps coming back.

These are the stories we hear every week at our Winnipeg clinic.

Lower back

The driver's-seat shuffle

You keep sliding forward and back, trying to find the one position where your lower back stops aching.

Neck

The growing pillow collection

New pillow after new pillow, yet you still wake up with neck pain that sometimes runs down your arm.

Lower back

Shovelling, lifting, then days of pain

One heavy job and your back locks up. It eases off, until the next time you bend or lift.

Shoulder

That sharp pain that never fully goes

Reaching, lifting or training still hurts. It settles for a while, then flares up again.

Knee

Taking the stairs one at a time

Stairs, squats and long walks make your knees ache, so you've quietly started avoiding them.

Dizziness

The room spins when you roll over

Turning your head, looking up or getting out of bed brings on dizziness, and you've started moving carefully.

Sports injury

Sitting out another game

A sprain or strain that won't settle keeps you on the bench, and you're not sure when it's safe to go back.

After surgery

Stiff and unsure after the operation

The surgery went well, but strength and movement haven't come back, and you don't know how hard to push.

Work or car accident

Still sore weeks after the accident

A workplace or motor vehicle injury is still affecting your work, sleep and everyday life.

Here's the truth: new chairs, pillows, stretches and painkillers only ease the symptom. The pain keeps coming back because the cause was never assessed. That's the first thing we do.

How we fix it

The right treatment for your kind of pain.

After your assessment, your physiotherapist combines the therapies that suit your problem, all under one roof on Meadowood Drive.
